as the title says my 2.4L anytime I shut the car off and start again and try to drive right away it starats to sputter and I have to put the gas to the floor to get it to stop. When driving it seems fine but not sure what it is. Would the O2 sensor being too far into the exhaust stream do anything to the idling problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

how long has it been since youre 2.4 has had a tune up / fuel filter / air filter changed?. Is youre car showing any check engine light on?
there is no check engine light on and I have done everything not too long ago. plugs changed to see if it would help, but nothing.
