You can't really trust anyone from autozone to diagnose your car.

It probably was an evap leak.

I just looked at your reg.
You probably forgot to hook up an evap line.

how could it be a evap leak, the car has been running bout 2 yrs now no problems, then about 2 months ago this check light comes on, i dropped the gas tank no leak on any of the hard lines, i checked the evap tank, no cranks or anything.

you may have a valve or solenoid stuck open which is causing the leak........a leak doesnt always mean that you have a cracked hose/line.......
if a valve is stuck open when it should be closed that will cause and issue.....what was the code number that autozone pulled..??

here is what autozone said,

engine misfire, large vaccum leak, engine oil leak, exhaust valve, guide seal, piston ring.

thats what they said.

an evap leak is on the canister in the back near the axle, where else could a leak be present. how can i check, or should i just replace the evap canister and hoses in the rear. the line in the front above the valve cover, that connects near the senso on the manifold to the sensor near the power steering pump has no cracks.
