I've got a haynes manual but its really hazy when it comes to the 4 speed...any help would be greatly appreciated..
Do you have a hoist, or is this a driveway repair?
Do you have air tools?
If you answered no to either of those I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself.

I've got a hoist and a compressor at my disposal what types of air tools will i need?... what tools period will i need? Thanks alot of the quick respose
I honesty dont know specifically what tools you will you need. I was just making sure you had air tools because some of those bolts are on there with over 150ft pounds, and that combined with being on the car for seven years they arent going to come off easy at all.
When I have done trans before, basically you just look at your situation and see what youve got.
Will I need to drop the subframe, will I need to remove this and that. Then you go from there.
