For all who have read previous posts they now my car for anyone else, or those who want a refresher:

I have a 1996 Z24 2.4L/5spd 173K miles,

here is my problem this time...
i went to shift on I-83 and i missed 4th gear kinda and when it was all said and done i was stuck in 3rd gear... i think it is the shifter cuz the peice beside the shifter that goes up when you go to put it in first or second, and goes down when you go to shift into 5th or reverse isnt moving....please tell me this is something relitively easy to fix.... Now i will say that the clutch engages and disengages properly... please help... i only have this vehicle right now.

If you take the shifter apart where the pivot ball sits into youre transmissions selector their should be a plastic white cap that sit on that pivot ball on youre shifter, If their is no plastic ball their, That could be causing youre troubles for youre shifting.
