03 ecotec overheating, all fluids filled?HELP!!!

i just got home a while ago and turned off the car and noticed the fans were still on so i put the key back in and saw it was runnin hot, the fas shut off after about 30 min i later checked the fluids and they were all normal. i still cant figure it out.

help please

it will be hot after you turn it off.........thats why the fan comes on.........

but you can look under the bumper to see if there is paper or a bag covering the radiator

My opinion would be you got a bad thermostat its sticking. If you replace thermostat, It wouldnt hurt to flush the coolant system as well.

If your fan kicks on when its supposed to then your good. But when you turn off your engine at that point the fan remains on. Turning off your engine stops the coolant flow so your engine gets hotter.

what temp was it at when you noticed it?
