I have a 01 sunfire 2200. Weirdest thing, Today i was drivin down the road and the radio cut out and back on repeatedly then the warning lights on the left came on(airbag, service, theft, etc) and then the gauges shut down. The car runs fine but this is repeatedly happening, the gauges and radio go on and off? Anyone ever come across this?
sounds like a BCM problem.

is there a intake on the car that may be coming in contact with a battery terminal...if you have a positive terminal the is coming in contact with metal the car will act like it shutdown but never run rough... you have an amp or noens or anything else make sure your terminal is on tight and if you have that extended terminal for additional wires and an intake it might come in contact with the intake and reset the ecm/ecu so it doesnt blow anything up...
i had that problem with my z24 when i got a new battery installed and that terminal put on... defenitly check that cuz it is an easy fix... just fix your terminal cover to cover the end of the terminal...
well I don't have any accessories any longer and the intake is nowhere near the battery or anything like that..........maybe i'll get lucky and it'll catch on fire lol. Mazda 6 here i come!!
i'm thinkin this might be a small problem eh? Ground from the battery is bare wires goin through that guide bracket!
well i replaced the ground cable and it still does that possessed shi*
ok just went to pick up a pizza and when i got back in and restarted it, it started kinda rough and then gave me "error" on the odometer?
ok i just tried sandin the ground hole on the battery plate and that didn't work. Sometime i'll have my buddy with his laptop and diagnostic software look up what's wrong hopefully that'll yield some results
