I searched the archives and could not find anything on the topic so here goes. My head gasket has the slowest little leak from the typical #4 plug corner. The leak is small enough to lower my level of coolant to where the light comes on in about a month. I do not feel like tearing the whole top half off to change the gasket, so I was wondering about this product. Has anyone had any experience with things like these? Will this work in my case? Could this postpone any problems for at least months if not a year? Thanks in advance-

looks like it's a "stops Leak" kinda thing. so it will be more harmful in the long run, dur to it clogging your cooling lines. Also, it uses a solid in it. I wouldn't use it for my motor. Just do the head gasket and save yourself in the long run.
Pull the head, re-orient the open part of the guide pin to face the outside corner or the block, clean mounting surfaces, reinstall the head with new bolts and gaskets. Simple idea, semi-involved tear-down -- but doable by a moderate wrencher within a day. THAT will be a permanent fix!
