Bad fuel regulator - symptoms?
Saturday, April 29, 2006 8:18 PM
I've been getting gas in my oil & assumed it was the fuel injectors, but was told that it could also be my fuel pressure regulator.

How could I determine if the regulator is bad? I've got a '96 Cavy 2.2L. Thanks.

No matter what the condition is of the FPR, it won't put fuel into the oil.

Actually I don't know of any component, other than bad rings, that would end up having fuel in the oil...

Hmmm...interesting. I guess I was told wrong. Must be my injectors after all. Thanks.
