What is the easiest way to know when your ball joints are going? I would also like to know if anyone can recommend a good place to get the parts neede and if there is a aftermarket (upgrade) that I can get. Should I also consider doing other suspension components at this point? Thanks Guys
Use a pair of slip joints, or channel locks, whichever you want to call them jack it up and grasp them on the top bolt of the ball joint and on the end on the bottom of it (assuming its the lowers) and squeeze them together, if they wiggle, replace them, if not dont worry about them, i personally replace my shocks when i replace my ball joints.

Heres an easy to find out youre balls are wornout, Jack the front of youre car up, With both hands on each side of the tire try move the tire up and down, If you fell any movement, Youre ball joints are wornout. joints, I believe you got to drill out the rivets on the stock ball joints, Or be careful if you are going to use a grinder. And parts store should have youre ball joints in stock.

Is that not how u tell if your bearing is bad? Or is that side to side for the bearing?

Up and down will tell you wheel bearing or ball joints, you just have to look where the play is.
well if youre wheel bearings are wornout, You will feel a metal to metal grind even when driving straight or turning a corner either way. Or you car get a flat head screw drive incert it where the ball joint bolt meets the spindle (Black rubber gromet ). Move the screw driver up & down if their is any play in the ball joints, They are starting to wear out.
