I just replaced my terminals on the battery. Well when I start the car, it starts a lot better than it did before, but once I start driving (out of 1st) and come to a stop, the revs go down to 0 and the car shuts off, battery light comes on. But when I start it and leave it in neutral or push the clutch in while in 1st it doesnt shut itself off.
mines has done this a few times in the past 2 months. usually on hard stops the car dies. no lights come on however. and it starts right back up no problems. i actually think my problem may be my fuel filter.
The biggest hole, is the illusion of invulnerability.

Heya Myles:
Are you getting check engine light on? Youre IAC motor sensor may need cleaning, That sensor will cause youre idle to drop.
Nope. I think it may be the battery.
A battery wont cause this, but lots of other things will, for example you didnt give much details when this happens. After driving at high speeds, then come to a stop, if so you TCC isnt disengaging.
If it stalls when coming to a stop at anytime quite a few things, intake leaks, IAC.
See you need a scan tool to see what IAC counts are at idle. If the stepper motor is extended all the way, MAF grams per second is low the car is doing what it can to lean itself out. So your problem then would be to much fuel.
Anyways you can try cleaning your IAC to see if it fixes it.
