ok... someone has got to help me out here... for several months now, my car has been making the oddest noise I've ever heard/felt...

when the car is moving backwards:

clutch in, clutch out, gear shifter in any position

I hear a weird click-pop click-pop click-pop noise and I FEEL the pop's in the shifter...

- happens MOSTLY when I first start to move after its been sitting for a while...
- happens MOSTLY when the car is going backwards but OCCASIONALLY when it's going forwards
- feels/sounds like its coming from either the front end or directly under the shifter (definately not the back of the car)
- i've taken it to the dealer, but they say they can't get it to do it...

ANY ideas whatsoever?

- forgot to add, the click-pops speed up as the car speeds up

i remeber you having this problem awhile back the first thing id do get all 4's up on jackstands e brake off in neutral spin each tire indivdually and see if you can hear the noise and go from there.

Tim you must need to be smacked! Haven't I TOLD YOU like a dozen times if you need help just freakin call!! Geeeez!! Give me a shout sunday as I have a wedding to go to on saturday and we'll get together and see what you broke now. lol
