Got an 04 Cavy with 5000 miles. I bought it and put a k&n and im gettin like 27 miles to the gallon and I do a lot of highway driving. I also only do 70 mph on the highway. Could the k&n be killing my gas mileage? its a drop in kit, and the cars a 2.2 ecotec
all i get is 27mpg on my 02 cavy. i've got a 2.4 with an auto and a aem intake w/kn filter. i drive 95% highway between 65-75 mph.
25-29 is about the norm, some people get above 30, some below 25...but you're about average. the kn didn't hurt your mpg.
go look in the third gen forum...there's like a 5 page discussion on everyone's mpg.

i have an 04 and the biggest incrase in MPG i did was change all fluids to synth and run seafoam through my car at every oil change, as well as proper alighnemnt and tire pressure, just standard stuff really ceers!!!
