Hey guys, I need the sunroof wiring diagram and possibly images of how to replace the motor from the service manuals (if available) for a 1996 Cavalier 2.2, if anyone has this stuff it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. My uncle's cav's sunroof doesn't open anymore so we need to figure out why.
how much wiring would there be only 2 id imagine.. a ground and a switch 12v
also i think your gonna have a hell of a time fixiing the motor on a 2.2 96 cav i dont think any of them came with a sunroof stock. So hopefully you know the man. and can get ahold of a motor

how many @!#$ times do i have to say on this website DO NOT GIVE ANSWERS IF YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE @!#$ YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. not to pick on you brandon.
anyway, back in the day i used to have the diagram, but since my hard drive crashed, i lost everything

. im gonna see if my friend has it archived on his computer. regardless, here's what you'll find. there's two wires (12V and ground, from the power window fuse) that go to the microprocessor, from the car's A pillar. there's also wires that leave the microprocessor and feed the motor. to the switch from the processor, quoting what i wrote three years ago,
Brown is open,
Orange is close,
and White is ground.
The brown and orange are held at 5 volts (yes 5 volts) until you press the switch, which it then becomes grounded. The sunroof is controlled by a microprocessor, which is why the leads are held at 5 volts. When the processor reads they ground signal, it decides what to do (vent, open, and close).

..lol i completly spaced the open close thing.. i have an aftermarket sunroof its just tapped at the starter or something must be the 12v switch and then wires are somewhere else that i dont know of
Use a volt meter for the open close see which one gets voltag when u push open and close etc.
