HIGH BEAMS WON'T WORK...

I have to hold it in place to work. Do I have to replace anything? Or simply buy another switch, Sorry I'm a noob at this.

Did you check the actual harness? If you run your high beams to long, you can damage the wires going to your headlights.

For the record, driving around civilization with your high beams on is stupid and, here at least, it's illegal.

It is probably the switch like Brandon said, that just happened to me a couple weeks ago. My headlights would get stuck on highbeams then sometimes they wouldnt even work at all.

Switch. Also, check it first. Some have an adujstment. You can slide it up or down, also, it should be on the lower part of the collumn. There is a long rod going to it. (I think)
