The mother-in-law had this book, that said if I shorted a wire between two places in the fuse panel under the dash of my 93 Sunbird, and turned the keys 5 times on and off, or something like that, my gauges would flash certain things, which translate in to certain problems.
Does anyone know what I am talking about?
Does anyone know what to pins I short with a wire jumper?
Does anyone know what the codes translate to mean? (ie website defining them or something?)

you only have to leave the key to the on position. You don't have to move the key 5 times.
You need to ground the 2 pins on the top right. On the same level.
The light will blink for each code 3 times and the first and last code will be 12 witch is the check code.
It will : blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink
Like that for every code.
Each code will have be different tough. Like a code 32 would be:
blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink .....
Understand? After that come back and tell us. It's not because you have a code that the sensor related to it is bad.

If im not mistaken ie. (32)......it would ....blink blink blink...........blink blink.. ....for a code 32.....unless i didnt understand you correctly .......i know its not gonna blink 32 x's
