Hey guys,
Just recently, when I go over speed bumps or anything like a hill, it squeaks.
What can I do to make it stop squeaking?
Also, I notice it squeaks when I break.. probably b/c of break dust. I guess I'll try to get rid of the breakdust to see if that will stop my breaks from squeaking.
your struts are probably be blown. get new ones... if your car is stock height either buy the cheap OEM replacement struts, or KYB GR2's(performance OEM struts)... if your car is lowered
AT ALL, do yourself a HUGE favor and look into getting either Koni Yellow's or Tokico D Specs, theyre the only way to do lowering the best rite way.

How long has it been since youre front end steering & suspension parts been greased?. As well you can inspect youre shocks by a simple bounce test, Just use all youre weight with youre body, push on youre front area of youre car, Then push up and down, if youre car bounces more then 2 times, then you socks are wearing out.
Front noise... If it sounds like pulling a threaded bolt through a hole, check the front swaybar bushings.
Rear noise... I replaced the rear shocks and mounts on my g/f's 97 Sunfire Se coupe she had. Noise gone.

thoughthardtocomeupwiththis, it doesnt sound anything like that... sound like a squeaky door. Like when you open and close it.
rich weeks, I just did you what you said and it doesnt bounce really. I put my body weight and pushed it down and up. when it came back up, it basically stayed. I don't really know when the front end steering & suspension part have been greased. Wouldnt the 60k check up do that for me? If not, what would i need to do?
