Just hit 42,000 miles on mine. At 40,000 miles i changed the trans fluid (manual, if auto do the filter too), changed the fuel filter, greased the movement points on F/R suspension and do a brake lining check. Aside from normal Oil/filters every 3000 miles and air filter every 6000 miles doing the above list will make your car live a long and happy life.

But yeah, I'd say do a brake check.. depending on your driving habits, you may need to do your front pads if they're still stock. Definitely change the fuel filter (mine clogged up at 15k causing my car to stall just about every time I pushed in the clutch). Grase/lube your moving parts. Pretty much everything everyone said already.
