My engine is running like crap!
The engine is way to loud at idle, kinda sounds like a diesel. Now I need to have my exhaust fixed, the baffles or something are being destroyed in the muffler, and im wondering if that might be contributing to the problem. Also should I have a shop look at my timing chain? could that be the problem? what are some other things i should check?

no check engine.
no leaking fluids.
regular pump gas.
i did my last oil change round 200 km ago or so.
put an intake on around christmas time but i noticed it getting rougher than it should before that.

Well i talked to a mechanic and he figures it could be valves and lifters. If it is valves and lifters how much work and money is this gonna take?
