This is some info i found out. There was another site. Basically, i was suprised that AC Delco ranks as one of the better filters. 90% of the test rank FRAM at the bottom of their list. I can attest to how bad fram is. Used them couple years ago and had nothing but problems.

There are going to be a number of pages with varying results this is a mopar page i found another i found a while ago were agains't FRAM.
Just want people to realize some of the ones we don't really think about are pretty good filters. And those we see all over the place may not always be the best.
I personally use AC Delco and many people i know with no issues and a good price as well.

Bob Is The Oil Guy is another good site to read about oils and oil filters.
I'll stick with AC Delco or Purolator Pure One's unless I can find some Wix's for cheap (not gonna happen).
I've used Fram filters for 30 years on all my cars/trucks. Had 1 problem with a filter and it was mfg wrong or packaged wrong as it leaked like crazy. I've also used delco and Purlator with good results. Can't really find Delco anymore, and AC plugs are getting that way too. I change my oil/filter every 3000 miles so i go through a lot of them in a year as between me and the wife we travel about 30,000 miles/year.

the Delco is 1$ 1.5$ more than a Delco. You do 30 000miles per year. That means 10 oil change.
So:
10 oil change * 1.5$ = 15$ per year.
15$ * 10 years = 150$
Price of an engine, 800$+
You'd rather save 150$ and take a chance of paying 800$+ in the long run? Sorry but your logic doesn't work.
Fram s*** plain and simple. Use Delco. Every chevy dealer have them.
