Besides the dealer, where can I buy the solinoid for the trunk pop? 97 cavalier convertable, if that matters. The part that goes on the trunk by the latch....dealer wants an arm and a leg.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.

if your going from manual to electric, i would imagine autoparts store would have one, or go to the junk yard, you can pull everything (just pull whole latch and swap) and get the harness and button while youre at it (i think 98 & ^ are electronic, mine is 02 and it goes through bcm - you would have to wire it yourself with a relay, etc). either way if the dealer is charging too much, id go hunting and who knows you might find something else you would need also
