well i know this is probably a maitenance forum thing but Ive got a 2.4l in my 2000 cav
and late last night i was coming around a corner and I was at 2000 rpms, as I proceeded to accellerate my car began jerking really hard as well as the rpms. when I pulled over to check things out I was massively backfireings really loud I think is my fpr and not my plugs(they would go one by one). when i got home I pulled wires coils and all that out except the plugs(shortage of tools) and it was all fine
any insight any one?
why do you think its the FPR?
did u see any moisture under or around the plug boots?. what kind of plugs do u have whens the last time you replaced them.
Well there are a few things that can cuase that.
well kids I replaced the plugs the fpr and still get the samr responce as before any help?
well I do have a new cat but I dont think that would be the probem?
more insight please
