well got a new block for my car and everything is going good the onlything that i dont remember is what wires go to the starter ... does the altornator wire connect to the starter ? i know the positive from the battery does and also there is a wire thati cant seem to find were it goes its some sort of ground but its has to sets of wire tan and black right by were the tranny connects to the engine.. thanks

The alternator thick wire with an eyelet terminal appears as (B+) in the chilton so it probably means that it goes to the battery...not sure though...

Don't have a manual handy but many cars get power from a starter relay. Maybe the black and tan wires are from/to a neutral safety switch. Good luck.
