ok i heard somewhere that if i cancel my extended warranty and my warranty GM will cut me a check is this true. Just heard it from a dealership and wondered if anyone on here knew anything bout it.. And if so roughly how much would it be u think?
probably a monthly rate for the remaining of the warranty I would think. Take your original cost of the extended warranty. Divide that by how many months it was for. Then how many months you have left should give you a rough estimate. Or call GM and find out what it would be.

This is actually a law. That if you purchase any type of extended warrenty and choose to cancell you get your money back for whatever amount of time isn't used on it. I work in retail and get this question all the time.
I understand you cancleing your "extended warrenty" or extended service agreement, but what do you mean by "and my warranty "????
If you bought an extended service agreement at the dealership that you bought your car from, it might be a service agreement from GM becasue they do offer a GMPP service plan, or it might be from a 3rd party provider. In either case you do get a refund for the sservice plan if it is paid in full. If you have financed the service agreement along with your vehicle, then the refund will go to loan. If you have the car paid for then you get the refund, or if the amount of the refund is more than you owe on the car, then you get the remaining amount back.
