rattle in the engine bay?

lately my gfs 02 4 door cavalier has been making a weird rattle up front when it gets up to highway speeds.

it sounds like it's coming from somewhere near the driver's wheel well. i haven't been able to track it down, but it almost sounds metallic.

anyone have similar problems?

Prop rod? My brothers Cav didn't have the whit clip for it to press into and would rattle. Could also be the tensioner pulley.

i think the clip is still ther for the prop rod. and the tensioner pulley is on the passenger side of the bay, isn't it?

i'm positive the rattle is on the driver's side
