Hey everyone, Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated. I,ve got a 2001 cavy 2.4 Z24 5 speed, the first sound is when i turn left i get a humming sound out of the front of my car. The second sound is in the rear left of my car when i hit bumps, I''ve checked the strut mounts and there good. Please help me. These sounds are annoying the hell out of me. Thanks.

the front could be a few things, including a stuck caliper or wheel bearing.

The first one would be your wheel bearings are going bad. The second one you need describe a little better.

The second sound is a very hard thuding when i hit bumps in the rear left of my car.

Maybe it' humming because it dosen't know the words!

second sound might, i said might be coming from your dropped exhaust system and the pipe is hitting the rear axle. happened to mine, I had a magnaflow exhaust and where it was bolted to the rear of the car broke and the system dropped, everytime i hit a bump,made a loud bang or thud. good thing gm has the over the axle exhaust, some cars i see go under the axle, boy if it dropped then, u'd be throwing sparks for miles. lol
left rear is where the exhaust is routed. just my 2 cents

the front could also be the powersteering or a wheel rubing not sure about the rear
