so i just got my running again after like a year almost and now it leaks oil like a mother. it is on the back right hand side of the motor. it is a 96 2.4. i made sure the oil pan was tight, the water pump is tight and the timming chain cover is tight. no oil from there. would the head gasket on the 2.4 leak oil? bc that is the only other place i could think of it coming from. please some one let me know. thanks.
run you hand around the valve cover, is there oil there?

nope its not coming from the valve cover..that was the first place i checked!
Pull the spark plug boots, is there oil pooling around the plugs?
can u see it dripping anywhere? mite be as simple as a seal on the drain plug
