Electrical Issues

Alright guys something weird is wrong with my car and i'm really confused about it. Ok my passenger side brake light doesnt light or the turn signal so i change the bulb and it's the same thing happening with the new bulb. So i take out the tailight put it back on and it lights up again. When i did this my gages in the car turned off in little sections and also in the ac controls. Then yesterday i noticed when i was driving on the highway with cruise control going if i turn on the right turn signal it kills it. So whats going on does anyone have any ideas. Oh yeah the driverside signal light blinks really fast if that helps any. So please guys can anyone tell me whats going on?

i'd say its your multifunction switch (aka turn signal switch) easy to change

Just recently i had a dvdplayer and tv screen installed which were both done professionally. Would a short be really hard to fix?
