2000+ blue headlight bulb?
Thursday, February 23, 2006 1:41 PM
Ok my gf has a 2001 cavy, she has eurolite bulbs that are blue and make her housing reflect blue during the daytime. She wants to know if there is a better bulb than eurolite that lasts longer than 10-11 months that still has that blue tint to make the housing appear blue.

If you take a look at your stock bulbs the lenses of them are perfectly clear in aftermarket erotlites and Nokia for example they are blue and when the sunlight goes through it makes the housing reflect blue as well........

now I have silverstart and the lenses are blue but dont show up blue in the day like my old Nokia's.....try those "Nokia" 9007,,,,,(picture of my car with Nokia in the the day...)

also look at each brand you are thinking of, the higher the "K" the bluer they will be...Im not sure what the "K" is on the Nokia but I will find out for you.....

first of all it is spelled, Nokya sorry about that,........and I found too differerent set, the Nokia and Xenon one was 4200K and the other was 6000K not sure which ones were in with that pic but my money is on the 6000K Nokya....

hope that all helps

I dunno, it all depends, some times the bulbs last like 2 months sometimes you lucky and get them for longer......i think they were in my car for about 8 month before i took them out cuz i got sick of them and wanted something different, and went with the silverstars.....now in the process of a custom projector/HID set up......yeah i get bored and sick of things all the time, always want change.

Silverstars are much higher quality than the Nokya/Eurolite/Eurodezign/etc and therefore will last longer. They are not as blue as those other ones, but they are brighter. 4600k is the most light output you're going to get get (the higher you go above 4600k, the less light output). I personally would want the best combination of light output/looks/quality, which I think the silverstars provide (not counting HID).
