I just had my oil changed the other day. On the way home the oil light popped on. I checked my oil and it had plenty in it. The next day it doesnt come on so i drive it a lil while and nothing happens. Then about 20 mins later it starts making a funny whistling sound and the oil light comes on. Any guesses of what it may be?
Well you oil pump could be torn out, Do you have any oil leaks ? or puddles under youre car? burning oil out of youre exhaust?.
if your oil pump was gone you wouldnt be driving. are you sure its the pressure light? probably thought 96's were the only ones with a level light.
Anyway could be oil pressure sensor?
