Cannot Start Car... Cannot figure out source!

Alright well this has been persisting for about 6 months now. I have around 74,000 miles on a 2000 2200 Engine. The check engine light and trac off light often stay on at all times. I believe I need a new O2 sensor. However, sometimes my car won't even start. I get music playing but it wont crank up at all. I took it in and they said the terminal plug to my battery was the culprit so i bought a new one and it fixed the problem for about 2 weeks. Then today it starts up and then im at the gas station and it won't start up. I try jumping it, i try playin with the wires. It does play music however. After about 2 mins of just sitting there with the music on (key turned to accessory) It cranked over. I got it to my house and now it again won't start. Does anyone know what the heck the problem is?

Maybe it's a bad ground on the negative terminal? or maybe to the starter? Does it make any noises when you turn the key over?

No noises what so ever. I did check the ground. Thats what they thought was the problem the first time.

when u turn the key to the crank/start position, do your accesories turn off? (i.e. radio)

it'd possible y amay have a bad neatral/park switch, meaning it's not telling the PCm it's in park or neautral or park, in turn locking out the starter

check the power wire to the fuse box....that can get loose over time and stop making contact at the post....i'd bet thats what the problem is....its a small bold on the lower side, which would be towards the front of the car...to check jiggle it while the car is running and if it shuts down, theres your problem, if not its a broken ground
