my right tire is slightly slanted the other way then my left front tire..... not exactly the same way....... and when i get to 40 miles an hour it gets noisy and i get alot of road slap.........

does that sound like a wheel bearing problem? or alignment
what am i looking at cost wise?

Jack you front wheels off the ground. Grab the wheel at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. If it moves top to bottom its probably a bearing. Then grab the wheel at 9 and 3 and wiggle it side to side. If it feels like its moving side to side, it could be a tie-rod. You can also check a tie rod with a pair of channel locks. Just squeeze the tie rod and see if it compresses at all. There really shouldnt be any movement. Either way thatll help you figure out if somethings loose. Check the other side while your at it. Check your tire wear too.

if there is play when u try to shake the tire at 12 and 6 and then again theres play when u shake it at 3 and 9 then its ur bearing bc if ur bearing is going/gone u will have play arudn the entire circumfrence of the tire no matter what sides u use. but my instructor told me that our cars are known for bearings going..mines begining to go and i have 31k miles on my car. like drew said check ur tire tread wear...it can help figure out whats going on
