part picture needed

Hi I am in search of a part that Im not sure what the name is. The best that I can explain it is that it is a radiator hose that runs under the car and is metal not rubber. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I need to see if the stock part is flattened like mine/

I have a 97 with the 2.4, and yes, my lower rad hose under the engine is metal and looks like it's flattened.

It's that way in the picture in the repair manual, so I assume that's normal.

Ok because mine takes about a 90degree turn up towards the hood and seems to be a little flattened all the way up. I was just worried that I wasne getting enough flow.

I saw mine right after I bought the car, was concerned that the previous owner got airborn and bottomed it out, like I'm planning to do before I call the junkyard to come and get it. I've even picked out the right rail crossing for max height and distance.

I'll post the video on JBO. Expect it late summer, after I get another car.
