Is there a big advantage between synthetic blends and full synthetic oils? Also, are there any of those fuel system cleaners that are better than the others? I know you get what you pay for, but there are so many.
Gotta keep on livin', L-I-V-I-N
Synthetic blend oil is only 8% synthetic and 92% Conventional oil. It pretty much recycled oil. I used to use it with out any problems, But now i use full synthetic oil, and i get better gas milegae and better idle.
As for fuel injector cleaners, Id go with either STP fuel fuel injuector cleaner or Seafoam.
Seafoam is more expensive and its not just a fuel conditioner.

Synthetic oil lasts longer, and is less prone to burn-off. Could be a wise choice in a younger car. I like to crawl under periodically to give everything the once-over, and using normal oil gives me a good reason to do it. As for additives/cleaners, 'SeaFoam' is popular here. Just used it a short while ago myself. A can in the fuel tank, and one in the crankcase. It'll clean both ends that way. Did an oil change shortly after to get any crap out before staying in too long. Also, generally most cleaners with Techron do well in the fuel system. In the winter time, you should use a water REMOVER, typically one with isopropal (sp?) alcohol. It'll absorb what water it can, and pass it along to be burned in the engine. Normally, alcohol isn't good in fuel systems. But, give it something to latch onto instead of drying/eating seals and whatnot, the pros outweigh the cons. Anyone else?
another thing to look at is BG products. BG makes an EXCELLENT fuel system cleaner/treatment wityh an added perfoamance enhancer.

look under fuel/air system
the fuel system treatment is called 44K, they also make a higher quality induction system cleaner, that is utilized by injecting a mist into your intake b4 the TB, jusrt did both today at work and car runs beautifully.
