My girlfriend calls me last night and says that when she turns on her heater all she can smell is gas? I've never had this happen before, anyone know what it could be?

leaky injector. Prolly number 1 cylinder. happens a lot. more noticable when at a stop rather than when moving
i agree...
my nissan had a similar symptom.
found out 2 of my injectors had external leaks...bad/might get into an engine fire!
sourced out 4 injectors and changed them all, just because of age.
u can go cheap and try to get the o-rings/seals n replace just those to see if it'll work...
Thank you all, I check them today

another thing could be the fuel lines runing under the firewall. the O-rings can go bad and spray all in that area, and just norht of that in the cowl is the hearbox intake
