Am I correct to assume that all blower motors from 3rd gen J-Bodies (regardless of trim) are the same?

i wonder if the 01 and up models have a better blower motor, because the 95-99 ones always go bad?

What usually goes bad is the resistor and some speeds cease to work itīs a sticky I believe

Correct. If that were the case however, I would only have the option of full/off. However, my car currently only has the speed of "off". I'm pretty sure the circumstances surrounding it's failure to work support my theory that the motor itself is bad.

As for everyone else, I managed to find a replacement cheap, so when it arrives and I get time, I'll plug it in to see what I can come up with...
