I was traveling to college this morning and my "trac off" light came on. I was driving on the highway, when the people in front of me started hitting the brakes because of the police, a mile down the road the light came on. Any ideas on what could be the issue? After class I will go out to my car and start it and see if the light comes on again. Any thing major I should worry about to get home?

Left college, and travelled about 3 or so miles and the light went off. Hmmm.... Could be that I hit a pothole and knocked it back in. I have no ideas, the roads here in georgia are a real PITA.

mine did the same thing when i wiped out on the highway did 3 donuts in to the ditch, it was on for 3 days then went out. i think it screws up the ETS system and need a bit to reset itself. i dont think its a big prob.

Once again, my light came on and stayed on. This time I didn't even hit the brakes while traveling down the highway tonight. Guess I'll get it checked out tomorrow. Maybe the switch switch went bad. Not sure, anybody have any ideas?

mine did it when I did e-brake burnouts and 180s and stipid @!#$. I would just pop it in N and shut the car off rolling down the road and started it back up to reset the system. trac light and abs came on at the same time though. good luck
