sorry guys dont have time to search for this. im going to be replacing a blown 2.4L this week and my local junkyard has a low mile one far a half decient price.. here lies the problem i dont have the car here and i need to know if it has an EGR. hes missing the spare tire cover with the options sheet, and he dosnt know much about cars.
the car is a 99 grand am with a LD9 what would be the quickest way to find out if it has EGR, so the salvage yard yanks the proper engine?
thanks in advance guys
uugh nevermind guys i got the brilliant idea to call a dealership and give em the vin.. it does infact have a EGR valve if anybody cares..
Sweet, the first step to true knowledge is answering your own questions. Congrats.
