I neglected to ask the shop that tinted my windows. But what's the best way to clean them? I don't want to use anything that will deteriorate the tint. Thanks!

that purple tint is pretty much a thing of the past. you can use pretty much whatever you would use on regular windows. windex will be fine. I think the tint they use now is pretty durable unless its very very cheap
^ ummm no matter what tint, i think using windex is a BIG no no.
i just use water, works fine.

Rock on, thanks for the input. I'll probably just use water unless I find it's not totally doing the job. The Armor All glass wipes sound like another good choice as well

You can use anything as long as it DOES NOT have amonia in it...
Thats what my tint guy told me...
Mine have been done for 4 years now and I have no issues at all.
ive used windex and ive had tint for as long as i can remember..
I've had tint since '84. Any cleaner that has no ammonia is fine.
Don't listen to brandon....Use "Safe for Window Tint" products online....

Any automotive section should have tint-safe window cleaners. Eagle One, Armor All, etc...they all make one.

Take clean empty spray bottle. Put a few drops of dish liquid in, and fill with water. Mix. Spray. Wipe with soft cotton cloth.
Ammonia products may/will eat the adhesive.
