Those spark plugs suck, stay away from them.

Get some magnacore 8mm wires, but stick with stock AC delcos for plugs.

id go with accel wires (very low ohm resistance, very good price, like 30 bucks), and ac delco plat plugs. or, some people like ngks or densos...but yes, bosch +4s are not so much.

Hey,

We have run Bosch+4in alot of vehicles with no prolems whatsoever. ACDelco platinums are only ment if you want to exten service intervals, otherwise save your money. Up here, You wont get them anyless than $14 per plug. You can get 2 Bosch+4 for that price. Just get a good set of wires from your local NAPA, they willl work fine.

Hope this helps.

Take care,

i was thinking of getting acdelco since there $5.99+tax here cheaper than bosche but still nto cheap compared to the lower brands
my car is mostly stock except air intake and dual cat back exhaust system
williambos any suggestion on wires , do i even need to bother to change them with 75,000 miles? or just change spark plugs for part of the tune up ...

thanks for help

for plugs, get NGK v-powers or above. They handle a lot of abuse and can put out big sparks if you're enhancing your ignition.

2/4 pronged Bosch plugs tend to give uneven sparks and wear out quicker, and can't stand the heat if you're hot rodding your @!#$ like i do.

I have the accel ferro-spiral wires and they're good, but not cut length which was kinda dissapointing - so they are kinda hanging around loosely in my engine bay and that's not cool.

Also MSD coil packs won't hurt.. i have some coming in the mail so i don't know how much performance gain there will be, but coil packs in cavaliers/sunfires go bad fairly often so if you're having ignition/idling problems it's worth a shot, they're also pretty cheap..

Sadly, no more..
