I am having an issue with the coolant level light. It comes on at times as if there is not enough coolant in the system. The car never runs hot and I have no performance issues. Could this just be a bad sending unit? I checked the coolant and I Have plenty. Any ideas?

you should still add more coolant. sometimes it looks full, but its not full all the way.

if the light still comes on, then you have a bad sensor
