Just recently my pass. side high beam stopped working... so i took 5 minutes and changed the bulb... and still is not working... both bulbs and fuses are fine... the only thing i've noticed is that when i hit lock/unlock on my keyless the bulb thats "blown" lights up just very faint... is there any relay or something hooked up in the wiring to the highbeams i could check... trying to figure this out looks bad with 1 headlight... thanks
Check it with a tester light, maybe will give you a better idea
Don't use a tester light, use a multimeter. Orange is constant hot for the headlights. Blue is hot when lowbeams are on and pink is grounded, Pink is hot when high beams are on and blue is grounded.

yeah use a meter.....but i have noticed on many cavaliers an sunfires that the headlight harness that runs between the frame an the washer jug, has a wire splice for the headlamps...what happens is that the splice become corroded and causing big resistance in the cicuit .......you might want to check there also.......but you will have to remove the d/s headlamp and washer jug to really open the harness up.....hope this helps
