i was just wondering if anyone could post a link or a picture that shows the routing diagram for a 96 cavalier z24 serpentine belt route if so please post thanks

match how it is on the car. if you didnt pay attention beforehand, there should be a sticker somewhere on the side of the motor, probably on the timing chain cover.

i totally lost the belt i was driving last night and my battery light came on and i looked undermy hood to see if my battery cables or something came loose and i noticed my belt was gone so i couldnt really see it before hand and ive looked around for the diagram on the car itself but cant see one so i was hopeing someone on here could help but htanks anyways

if you have that plastic rad cover still on, i believe its on there

Check the underside of the hood - you should find a sticker there with the belt routing.

If not, check out http://www.AutoZone.com

- Click on "Vehicle Repair Guides" on the left.
- Click on "General Information and Maintenance" in the center
- Click on "Routine Maintenance and Tune-up" on the right
- Click on "Belts" on the right

Scroll down for the pictures you need (and step-by-step instructions).

Dumb suggestion maybe, but, do they still put the diagram in the owner's manual?

Oops, click on "Choose a Vehicle" in the upper-left, enter your vehicle specs, then click on "Repair Info" on the left before following the steps above.

thanks everyone i couldnt see a sticker or anything under the hood but the autozone website had it thanks again
