I was wondering what the amperage is on the alternator on a 02 cavalier with a 2200 w/air and rear defrost. is it somewhere around 110 amp?

I wanna do the big 3 upgrade and I wanna match the fuse or circuit breaker to the amperage of the alternator. so I dont worry about shorting out anything.

just becareful bc your alternator is only supposed ot put out about half of the maxium amps so 105 divide by 2 = 52.5amps. if you push more then what its recommended to run is basically this...the biproduct of current flow is heat...you'll fry your alternator
