running warm

so this is the second time this has happened, the car runs 5-10 degrees warmer when in traffic. but as soon as i get out and get some speed it cools back down. is there anything i can do to reduce it running warm in traffic? or any other tips.




If it doesnt break then you didnt drive it hard enough!

I drive an automatic, I'll race you... 1 hand and 1 foot.

It's normal to run hotter in traffic. No air is going in the radiator.

Either do the bypass switch mod or live with it.

alright thanks do u know how much warmer it can run before things go boom, and i searched for that and didnt find anything, do u have a link for it?

Don't get too worried unless it gets near the red. BUT if you think its getting to high sitting in traffic just turn the A/C on. That turns the fan on automaticly and it will drop the temp down. No this will not hurt anything nor cause any problems and if you turn the temp select knob to warm you'll never even know its on.
