I am at 140,000 and want some more power but am concerned the mileage is to high to do any mods outside of bolt ons to the motor, I was wondering do I just have to keep an eye open on ebay and such for a motor to build up or rebuild, or is there somewhere online to buy a new 2.4 for my car? its a daily driver and I cant afford any down time so working on my current motor is not a good idea......or is it....I am not a mechanic by any means but have done plenty of work with the help of a haynes or chilton....albeit to engines 90 and older but its all the same kinda....
I would also be interested in a new or rebuilt 2.4 long block. Thanks.
yea a new engine from gm with discounts is a little over 3000 dollars so if you want a new one go to www.car-part.com or look around because a new one is just insanely expensive.
