Hey guys,
My gf has a 92 Cavalier, and for some reason the headlights aren't working properly. It has daytime running lights that come on when the e-brake is off, but when you try to turn on the headlights, nothing happens except the interior dash lights and such come on. Hi-beams don't work either. I think I checked all the obvious stuff (ie. bulbs, connections, fuses) and the only thing I can think of is the breaker...looks like a fuse but it's cased in metal. Any ideas?
Josh
ps. I just read the thread below mine about the switch...could that be the problem? The way I read that is that nothing should work if the switch is screwed, but the signals still work...help! lol
From the problem you are describing, it shouldn't be the switch. It could be the exterior lighting fuse or headlamp relays or you could have bigger problems.
