Just wondering how to fix it. I managed to f*ck up the little plastic tabs on the inlet side of the fuel filter. I even had the little tool you're supposed to use to pull the fitting off. Anyway, it's broke and I've been told I have to replace that entire hose, which I'm guessing means dropping the fuel tank. Anyone else done this before? Or am I just an idiot?

So you broke the end where it has the quick disconnect? If so same thing happened to me, I cut that end of the line, went to parts store bought a nylon fuel line with the quick disconnect on one end and a barb coupler that goes into the other end. You'll have to warm up the nylon line to get it to shape bends and stuff. We tried using warm water but didn't work as well as a torch or something similar. (line not on car of course)
