Well, I had my car checked out at my dads, hooked it up to a scanner and had a low input vss code thingy.....and when I went to replace it one of the wires was pulled out of the connector thingy for some reason.....like it got ripped out or something.....I have the orange wire, I dont know if thats the actual sensor that sends the signal to the pcm, or a voltage wire or something, but I dont know what color wire is suppossed to be in that same connector.....I cant seem to find it in the wire loom......I have a 2.4 getrag tranny if that helps any....thanks guys...

It doesn't look like there should be an orange wire to th VSS.

There should be other wires going into the trans. It could be one of the non critical wires.
well, it was my backup lights lol....they dont work.....so then where is the sensor? the backup light sensor thing was the only one I could see on the transmission......
