Well my car sat for awhile after I bought my Z28. Then I started driving it again and noticed my remotes no longer work. I have two of them and neither of them work... I searched and found you could reset them, tried it and it didn't work... Do they just need new batteries? Or will have to buy all new Key Fobs?

The car works right?
Sounds like a dead battery problem to me.

Yeah the car works. Is the dealer the only place to get replacement batteries?

I'm gonna be nice and say nothing mean so....
no, go to walmart and get a new battery. Should cost like 2 or 3 dollars.

Almost any store that has a electronics department , even a small one, will have the batteries.

Check the battery connection points. Give 'em a good cleaning with a Q-tip and rubbing alchohol.

Where is the device located in the car that actually recieves the signal from the key fob? I'm thinking it's that and not battery related...
