ok well i open'd my sunroof and then i tryed to close it and it wont close, every time i hit the switch i can hear a clicking sound, what could it be?
Try assisting it while closing. Get someone to work the switch, and stand outside the car and wiggle it side to side (gentley) and see if you can get it back down? Just a suggestion
already tryed that, nothing, u think the sunroof motor is blown?
You said that you hear clicking? The switch clicking or the gears grinding?
Also is there a place where you can thaw it out? Could be frozen
they work on a cable system. could be that one of them snapped and caused the problem.
there 2 cables that pull the sunroof open and one that closes it. Ive never replaced one, but when i took my 05 in for the same problem they where pretty irritated about doing it. im told its a @!#$ty repair.

ya mine is also a 05, im gona go check that out, car is parked inside a garage at my gf's parents house because me and my gf have no garage, and i dont wanna leave a open sunroof outside
Hey, for the amount of time it takes, take the headliner down and have a look. But its an 05 so it should be covered under warranty

took the whole headliner off and removed the motor and re-installed it, weird hey? lol.
but atleast it fixed it
how difficult is it to remove and re-install the motor?

couple wires and three I believe #20 torx screw's holding it in there
its gonna happen to u again.. ur gonna need a new motor. cav sunroof motors suck... ive had this problem for awhile. sunroof motor and windo motors both will go out... those things are big pos's!!!!
the window motors are definitely junk. My windows take forever to go up. My buddy with a cav complains about the same thing. I have a 91 chevy pickup with power windows that have never been replaced and it goes up real fast.
